This replica of Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City was made for a big Chiefs fan on his 40th birthday. Happy Birthday, Pat! Everything is hand molded except for the cookie stick supports. GO CHIEFS!!
This page was designed so that I could provide you a few more details about a cake or cookie design I thought deserving and also to enable you to see what's new without having to view the other pages you've already seen.
My grandson, Tate, requested "Lightening McQueen" for his 4th birthday cake. He was the one that got me started on this "cake journey" when I made the animal cupcakes (on my "Birthday" page) for his 2nd birthday. I can't believe he's now four. Happy Birthday, Tate. Nonny loves you very much and can't wait to see what you come up for birthday #5.
This cake was simply beautiful -- champagne swags, light yellow daisies on ivory fondant. Megan and Brian, may every day together be better than the day before. Thank you for the blessing of sharing in your day.
My first beach-themed wedding cake -- the white chocolate sea shells were scrumptious. Alicia and Scott got married in the Caribbean over spring break and celebrated together with their friends and family after Alicia graduated from K-State Veterinary College. Congratulations, Alicia and Scott. May the love you share today be a foundation that will never be shaken.
My grandson, Trey, turned two this month and we got to have his party at "Nonny's" house. He loves Elmo and Abby Cadabby, so of course, we invited them to his party, along with a few other friends. Happy Birthday, Trey. Nonny loves you more than you can know.
Amber and Kiereon's wedding cake was so striking -- I absolutely loved it. The chocolate fondant was the perfect background for the hand-rolled gold scrolls. Congratulations, Amber and Kiereon. Thank you for blessing me with the opportunity to be a part of such an important day in your lives.
Jackie and Dan got married at Lake Shawnee in Topeka. It was one of the most beautiful settings I've ever seen for a wedding. Their wedding cake was PERFECT for their summer wedding. Jackie surprised Dan with a "steam engine" groom's cake -- it was a HUGE hit!! A special thanks to my son, RJ, who did all the detail work on the groom's cake -- it was such a blessing to work with him. Congratulations, Jackie and Dan. I pray that your wedding day was only the beginning of a lifetime of days that bring you great joy and love.
Katie and Ryan's "cupcake" wedding cake was both elegant and whimsical in black, white and gold. It was such fun to do. Congratulations, Katie and Ryan. I wish you all of life's very best and pray that your love for each other will only grow stronger and deeper with every day you share.
This was my 2nd "beach-themed" cake and I absolutely LOVED that it was all done in shades of blue and white. With the twinkling lights creating a "Carribean" sea, the light sprinkles of blue glitter, and white chocolate shells and coral, Amber and David's cake was BEAUTIFUL. Thank you both for the opportunity to share in your special day -- I wish you a lifetime of sunshine and happiness.
Erinn and James wanted a casual cake to go with their outdoor, backyard wedding. The rough textured chocolate buttercream icing, with the fresh blueberry borders and strawberry topper and accents was the perfect combination. The sugar calla lilies added just a touch of elegance. Congratulations, Erinn and James. Thank you for the blessing of sharing in your day. I pray for a life together that is filled with the blessings of God.
Mason loves basketball and so his mommy and daddy wanted him to have the perfect cake to celebrate his 3rd birthday. Happy birthday, Mason. Hope it was fun eating a basketball made out of cake.
Congratulations, Ellaine and Brian. Your cake was SO FUN in purple, white and silver, and the twisted tiers. The plaques on the back were the perfect personal touch (sorry about the pins -- I forgot to remove them before we snapped the picture.) I hope that you will always be as happy as you were on your wedding day. Thank you for the blessing of being a part of your story.
These three words perfectly describe Jantzie and her philosophy of life. Happy Birthday, Jantzie. May all the smiles, the laughter, the joy you've brought to so many lives be returned to you in great abundance.
Alexis' and Emery's wedding cakes were so much fun to make. I loved the elegance and simplicity of the lace and bow on their wedding cake. All the sculpting on the groom's cake was done by RJ -- these pictures just don't do the detail justice. Congratulations, Alexis and Emery. May God bless every day of your life together.
I made this cake for a mommy-to-be who is expecting a couple of little angels soon -- twin boys. Design was based on baby shower invitation.
This cake was made for a little "doll" named Kira to celebrate her 1st birthday. Happy birthday, Kira!!
Amy and Brian wanted a simple, sparkly cake iced in buttercream for their wedding. I gave their cake my special "buttercream texture" and added the sparkle with edible glitter and sanding sugar. Congratulations, Amy and Brian. It was a blessing for me to be a part of such a special day in your lives.
Heather loves dragonflies and we were able to include them on her and Michael's wedding cake. They are completely edible, made of gumpaste and gelatin sheets. This cake turned out beautiful -- I loved the ice blue and brown color combination. Congratulations, Heather and Michael. Thank you for the opportunity to make a cake that was uniquely yours. I wish you much happiness.
Ayasha wanted a special cake to celebrate her boyfriend, Avery's, 21st birthday. Cake included his favorite colors, blue and black, and his love of lions and football. RJ sculpted the cake topper that can be removed and kept as a memento of this special day in Avery's life. Happy birthday, Avery.
Congraulations, Lauren and John. Your cake was beautiful in it's simplicity. It was a blessing to meet and work with you--may the Lord bless and keep you and watch over your relationship all the days of your lives.
Michelle and Stephen got married on Halloween and had a Halloween-themed wedding, costumes and all. This cake was such fun to make and I absolutely love the little "Bride and Groom" spiders. God bless you, Michelle and Stephen. May each day you share bring more joy than the one before.
I made this cake for my youth pastor's youngest daughter, Paelyn. She's quickly following in her big sister's, Princess Avalee, footsteps. So, of course, she had to have her own "princess" cake. Happy birthday, Paelyn!!
